Who am I?

I’m Thomas Hig. I am a motivational speaker, inspirational thinker, mental health campaigner and life coach.

My aim is clear:

To help as many people possible overcome depression and general anxiety.

Whether this is caused through a traumatic event in their life or something less significant I am able to offer them the tools and guidance to help them make a change.

Time to understand mental health

Getting people to understand mental health and well being is incredibly important in this day and age.

The pressures of life aren’t easy at the best of times and many people struggle to deal with these, whether its work, home life, finances. On top of these pressures exposure to trauma e.g. loss of a loved one, relationship breakdown, can cause many people to suffer some form of mental health disorder. The key isn’t brushing it under the carpet as an embarrassment or weakness, the key is to focus and address the issue and prevent it getting any worse whilst turning what was a negative experience into something which makes you stronger.

Mental health is real…don’t bottle it up!

The number of people I speak to who openly admit they suffer in silence and bottle it up because it’s not a topic they feel comfortable discussing with friends down the pub or over a coffee is over-whelming.

Its evident people cannot simply bring up a problem they have in their head out of fear of being ridiculed. Funnily if it’s a problem they have in the rest of the body you can’t shut them up!
